Ms. Jones has worked closely with countless businesses to develop strategies for success and sustainability in the government space to include certification, contract vehicles, competitor and industry analysis, marketing strategies, proposal development, state and federal procurement program compliance, and contract administration. Ms. Jones has personally prepared countless Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) applications following CFR 49, Part 26, that were successfully certified as DBE’s. She understands the nuances of the program and is able to discern problematic areas and provide clear explanations of how regulations apply to client applications. Ms. Jones holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles and an MBA from Pepperdine University. This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency This workshop is a project of the Caltrans DBE/SS Northern Region Program.
